Port Operations Supervisor

الوصف الوظيفي
1.  Responsible for ensuring overall supervision and arrangements required during loading and discharging cargo of all appointed vessels

2.  Responsible for the overall accuracy, timeliness and safety of cargo loading and discharging operation for all appointed vessels

3.  Close coordination with concerned authorities / parties in advance of arrival for provision of berth, equipment, manpower and reports / documentation requirements of the vessel.

4.  Physically attend Vessel during port call and to schedule Kanoo Operator’s attendance as required.

5.  Responsible for ensuring effective implementation / compliance of Management Requirements as per Kanoo Shipping Operational / Quality / HSSE Procedures and Policies.

6.  Monitor suppliers to ensure Kanoo Shipping Operational / Quality / HSSE / Accounting rare strictly always complied

7.  Updates customers for equipment/other required arrangements

8.  Ensure principal’s Key Performance Indicator targets for cargo loading and discharging are achieved

9.  Coordination and clarifying with concerned parties / principals / vessel command for any issues or discrepancy in information that could affect accuracy, timeliness or safety of cargo operations

10.  Analyse Load/Discharge Plan base on the manifest and prepare Load/Discharge summary

11.  Ensure cargo are stowed/packed/lashed as per principal requirement / procedure

12.  Prepares operational reports and sends to all concerned parties as required

13.  Ensure all customer complaints and safety breaches are reported to Shipping Manager - Yanbu

14.  Compiles operational records and sends to Documentation & Accounts Section for closing of vessel file

15.  Carry out supplier performance re-evaluation

المهارات
Minimum 5 years of experience in Port Operations
Full knowledge in shipping
Understanding of Quality & HSSE Management Systems
Good Communication Skills, Excellent in speaking and writing in English language
Proficient in Office software utilities (Outlook Excel, Word, PPT, etc
