Principal Objective: A brief summary of the responsibilities of the position.
The Real Estate Development Expert is responsible for the management and operational aspects of the Royal Commission real estate business. He is responsible for producing the annual business development plan and for establishing operating guidelines. The Real Estate Development Expert works closely with the Commercial and Residential Department Director and supports the Investment Development Division. He ensures that RC real estate business is in compliance with the Yanbu 2030 Economic Vision.
Organizational Relationship: A brief synopsis of reporting relationships i.e., reports to, supports section, group, etc.; interfaces with senior management, clients, etc.
The Real Estate Development Expert is a direct interface with the department Director. He coordinates with stakeholders and with other Royal Commission Departments regarding all activities related to real estate development.
Major Activities Performed: List the major job function(s) of the position.
Advise the Director with regard to all pertinent actions and matters of importance.
Prepare a comprehensive annual real estate business development plan.
Ensure that the BD plan incorporates Royal Commission input and that RC directives are optimized.
Establish performance targets, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other departmental guidelines. Examples include strategies, goals, objectives, budgets, policies and procedures.
Facilitate departmental conformance to targets, KPIs and guidelines.
Identify and facilitate improvement opportunities. These may be related to an increase in real estate market share, profitability or overall return on investment.
Conduct real estate feasibility studies and strategic review.
Interface and negotiate with current and potential RC property investors.
Negotiate acceptable terms and conditions of institutional and commercial business investment agreements.
Ensure that all RC institutional and commercial properties are well maintained.
Perform comprehensive real estate market analysis as needed to accurately estimate the property’s values.
Prepare and present material on matters pertaining to real estate development. Presentations may be of technical, financial or general in nature and contents. PowerPoint skills are required.
Prepare monthly reports as appropriate.
Experience and Qualifications: List the background experience required for the position, number of years experience, in what fields. Describe the desirable academic background.
Candidate should have a Degree in Architecture or any construction management related field
Master’ Degree or equivalent from a reputable university (Prefered)
Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in real estate development field (Institutional, Commercial) out of which (5) years of extensive real estate industry experience
Candidate should fully understand real estate market, professional expertise, financial orientation, self-starting initiative
Candidate must have strong negotiation, analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
Must be able to communicate effectively in the English language
Knowledge of computers and basic software applications: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong Administration, Management leadership skills
