الوصف الوظيفي 2-Assists supervisors in testing and evaluating welding equipment, metals, and alloys. 3-Evaluates data and conducts experiments to develop application of new equipment or improved techniques, procedures, or practices. 4-Operates electric arc welding machine, adjusts ampere and voltage to required levels during welding. 5-Operates oxygen/acetylene welding equipment and connects regulator, torch and gas cylinders, adjusting gas pressure to required levels. Includes maintenance and up keeping in proper operating condition of welding machinery and related equipment, requests supervisor to initiate requisitions against consumption of supplies to maintain to stock levels. 6-Performs welding fabrication in the workshop. Welds, cuts and solders ferrous and non-ferrous metals such as cast iron, stainless steel and carbon steel, mild steel, silver, zinc, aluminum. 7-Performs flat, vertical and overhead welding, and welds various structures including girder bars, pipe joints and stand supports. 8-Uses appropriate procedures and techniques according to assignment, such as cutting flame trimming, grinding and drilling, selects corrects electrodes and uses various techniques to “finish” welding work. 9-Carries out inert gas welding to repair various materials as directed. 10-Ensuring compliance with safety and fire regulations by wearing protective clothing, footwear and masks and obtaining appropriate work permits before commencing work. 11-Inspects welded joints and conducts tests to ensure welds meet company standards, national code requirements, and customer job specifications. 12-Records inspection and test results and prepares and submits reports to welding supervisors. 13-Performs other duties as may be assigned. المهارات Communication Skills. Teamwork skills. Able to work all shifts .
