SENIOR PIPES & INDUSTRIAL CORRIDORS SPECIALIST

Job Description and Requirements
Major Activities Performed:

Reviews and approves construction activities in the utility corridors.

Is point of contact with local industries concerning utility corridors.

Coordinates with industries/investors and other Royal Commission departments regarding utility corridors.

Recommends design, construction, inspection, operations, and maintenance standards used in the utility corridors.

Develops safety policies used by industries involved with utility corridors.

Manages the Royal Commission’s activities involved with providing shared services to firms in the Yanbu Industrial area.

Coordinates the section’s activities regarding infrastructure with other Royal Commission Departments.

Implementation of department policies, goals, objectives, and procedures.

Assists in development and implementation of business plans.

People Management

Ensures superiors are well informed at all times.
Manages and trains junior staff in the department.

Related Assignments

Performs other related duties as assigned or directed.

Education/Experience Profile

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from Western recognized university
At least 10 years’ experience in construction management, project management, or utilities and pipeline operations and management.
Previous utility or pipeline system experience is preferred.
Knowledge of API, ASME, and OSHA standards is required.

Key Technical Skills

Relevant computer proficiency, experience in using Microsoft Office tools and/or any relevant software.
Time management, communication and interpersonal skills, particularly with regard to people with diverse backgrounds.
Well-developed written and communications skills.
