Key Results/ Accountabilities expected from role
· Lead the outbound team to deliver production volumes on schedule so that customer service targets are met
· Collaborate with rest of the production team to hand-over the production against weekly/daily schedule the same so as to achieve optimum utilization of resources and meet the delivery schedules 100 % in full on time
· Own the process of product transfer ensuring compliance to all systems and HSSE requirement
· Drive the delivery team to continuously improve upon its HSSE performance and achieve high standards expected from shop floor. Facilitate embedding the HSSE culture in the plant
· Drive the delivery team to continuously improve the line utilisation with optimum manpower and improving the line OEE by creating storage space to keep lines running
· Drive cost reduction through efficiency and productivity improvement in to deliver better conversion costs year on year
· Monitor and implement planning schedules in a manner that dispatch accuracy targets of the plant are met
· Support the Quality initiatives, including sustaining ISO/ OHSAS certification and TQM, to deliver best in class performance from the shift team
Play a key role in maintaining a high level of motivation in his team and drive the development of shop floor personnel and managing shop floor discipline
Prepare and distribute MIS reports viz. IFOT, Schedule adherence, capacity utilisation & turnaround of storage spaces
· Act as response team member for crisis / continuity management, with accountabilities consistent with relevant response plans and as assigned by the response team leader
المهارات
Educational Qualification / Certification: Graduate, Certification in any production courses would be an added advantage.
Knowledge / Experience:
Should have 3-4 years in a Chemical / FMCG industry. Knowledge of warehouse operations will be an advantage
Knowledge of import & export procedures. Exposure to port, customs clearance and documentation preferred
Proven experience in driving productivity and quality improvement
Understanding of Statutory & Legal Compliance in Factories essential. Experience of working as a team leader
Proficiency in English
