The Field Service Engineer will provide on-site (in the field) service to our external customers and when not on-site, he will assist with the day-to-day technical support to the region. This includes product selection and specification, troubleshooting, failure diagnosis and will involve working directly with internal and external suppliers and customers.
Duties and Responsibilities: • Field troubleshooting, including analysis of problems / recommendation & implementation of appropriate solutions, meeting with customers in plant or at customer’s site to resolve satisfactorily• Detailed failure analysis activities, including investigation / reporting / resolution• Detailed technical presentations to customers in order to support sales or drive root cause analysis exercises• Manage and report personal workload, forecast job lead-times to meet customer and departmental objectives• Visit customer sites for technical measurement, seal installation and commissioning• Work in line with John Crane standards, procedures and policies
المهارات
• University degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field.• Professional experience in engineering and sales.• Experience working in refinery rotating equipment/maintenance.• Engineering knowledge in a proactive multinational and multicultural• Knowledge of CAD• A strong technical knowledge of John Crane product portfolio.• Speaking in Arabic is an advantage
