الوصف الوظيفي 5.1 Be available to provide clinical consultation to the laboratory’s patient. 5.2 Be available to assist the laboratory’s patient ensuring that appropriate test are ordered to meet the clinical expectation; 5.3 Ensure that reports of test results include pertinent information required for specific patient interpretation; and 5.4 Ensure that consultation is available and communicated to the laboratory’s clients on matters related to the quality of the test results reported and their interpretation concerning specific patient conditions. 5.5 Provides a diagnostic service in all aspects of anatomical pathology including cytopathology. 5.6 Provides intraoperative pathology consultation including gross evaluation of specimens and frozen section consultation, and performs fine needle aspiration. 5.7 Provides consultancy and advice to internal and external clients. 5.8 Supervises junior medical staff including assessment of staff performance in relation to clinical competence, adherence to departmental protocols, timely and accurate documentation, communication with patients, relatives, and other staff and doctors in other hospitals and in the community. 5.9 Participates in professional continuing educational activities, regular performance review and maintains and updates own knowledge and skills. 5.10 Participates in departmental and other meetings as required to meet organizational and service objectives. 5.11 Provides medical reports and performs other management tasks as required. 5.12 Actively participates in quality improvement activities within the laboratory department and organization. المهارات Demonstrated high level of written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to participate and provide leadership in a multi-disciplinary team. Active participation and experience in continuing medical education. Ability to initiate, undertake and supervise clinical research in anatomical pathology. Education Graduate from a recognized medical school.
