Since 2014, Niagara College KSA (NC KSA) has operated technical and vocational training colleges throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in support of the Vision 2030 initiative and in partnership with the Colleges of Excellence (CoE). Headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, NC KSA provides community and customized training based on Niagara College Canada’s expertise and international track records as one of Canada’s most innovative and enterprising applied learning post-secondary institutions. With a strong focus on developing ‘world-’ and ‘work-’ ready graduates, NC KSA specializes in delivering a number of quality programs designed to prepare young men and women for successful entry into the workforce in the areas of Business, Event Management, Occupational Health & Safety, Information Technology, Graphic Design, and Building & Construction. All NC KSA campuses also offer a foundation program for English language development.
The Planning and Operations Department are a customer servicing department, committed to attracting, supporting and retaining a high performing workforce. The Planning and Operations Department defines, monitors and assists in the implementation of initiatives, policies and practices which ensure the regulatory compliance of Niagara College KSA, as well as contributing to a safe, rewarding and inclusive working environment for all staff.
Applications are invited for the position of Officer, Employee Liaison at Niagara College KSA, Taif male campus. Reporting to the Senior Officer, Human Resources, the Officer, Employee Liaison is responsible and accountable for the consistent and timely application of NC KSA employment related policies and procedures that support individuals as well as wider business departments.
The Employee Liaison Team focus on developing a framework of policies and practices which are compliant with Saudi Arabian Labour Law. They provide direct to support to all employees in their use and application. The framework contributes to ensuring a safe, rewarding and inclusive working environment for all staff. The team contributes to the operational needs of Niagara College through the accurate maintenance of data and documentation as well as positively contribute to the culture of the organisation through their prompt, professional and reliable interaction with all employees and stakeholders.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Performance and Value
Act as an ambassador of the Planning and Operations Department across Niagara College KSA.
Contribute to the collection and presentation of data and information for internal and external audits including Niagara College Canada, KPMG, Colleges of Excellence, and TVTC.
Prioritise and manage your workload to ensure that internal and external deadlines are met with high quality and accurate submissions.
Communication and Culture
Embrace the use of technology as a communication, engagement, and management tool for use by all employees.
Contribute to the planning and delivery of an effective induction programme to new employees, assisting with the preparation of email addresses, medical insurance, and similar organisational benefits and requirements.
Monitor Employee Liaison Appointments and Queries through Freshdesk ensuring that employees receive an efficient and accurate response to queries.
Work closely with other Officers, Employee Liaison to share and develop best practices.
Quality and Improvement
Fully engage in the Performance Management process, agreeing and working towards clearly defined targets that contribute to the improved performance of the team.
Provide employees with a service that is supportive, professional, prompt, accurate, consistent, and unbiased.
Lead on the maintenance of local employee data by providing accurate data in a timely manner to the HRMIS Team while ensuring all records are complete.
Contribute to the delivery of training to all local staff on the continued use of the HRMIS Self-Service portal for functions such as pay slips, leave, contact details, etc.
Systems and Processes
Monitor changes to Saudi Labour Law and how these have led to modifications in the policies and processes of Niagara College KSA.
Maintain an understanding of Niagara College policies, procedures, and practices and ensure these are consistently and accurately applied at a local level.
Contribute to the delivery of training to employees when new policies and procedures are introduced or updated.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS – The following minimum requirements include:
A post-secondary Diploma in Human Resources from a recognised university, or a Bachelor’s degree accompanied by a professional Human Resources qualification.
A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in Human Resources administration.
Experience in the collection, use, and interpretation of data, including HRMIS.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in both Arabic and English.
Experience in implementation of Human Resources policies and practices.
Excellent customer service skills.
Excellent IT skills especially around use of MS Office Suite.
Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience in GCC / MENA countries.
Saudi Nationals will only be considered as per Saudi Labour Law.
