الوصف الوظيفي المهارات Lead the strategic goals of the College through sound planning and execution of all Foundation and Diploma programming Provide leadership to the Chairs and academic team in each department with the development of academic programs in accordance with the mission and goals of the College Execute and lead curriculum development of new and existing programming and related courses within the Foundation, Associate Diploma, and Diploma programs Maintain high levels of academic integrity and quality assurance Lead the development and maintenance of Foundation and Diploma studies curriculum to ensure that all levels of curriculum learning goals are met Assist with faculty recruitment, hiring, training and ongoing professional development Build a strong team of faculty which leads the team towards achieving the College’s academic goals and mission Work closely with the Academic Advisement team to actively promote a culture of attendance and retention Oversee student progress, learning supports and remedial learning opportunities Facilitate the development and implementation of the ‘On-the-Job-Training’ strategy and assist with the coordination of employers/sponsors for Associate Diploma and Diploma programs Work collaboratively with staff, the community and employer engagement areas in the coordination of events that integrate and engage students with local employer/employment opportunities Work with the Contract Training Department to provide academic support to their operations as required Assist with the development and management of the classroom observations, faculty performance review process and professional development offerings Optimized scheduled faculty with the chairs and facilities using principles of lean planning combined with maximizing student satisfaction Contribute as a member of the NC KSA management team and to the growth and development of the campuses, including learning enterprises and customized training activities Assist in the development of recruitment, admissions, and retention processes and systems to ensure critical key performance indicators in regard to attendance, enrolment and retention targets are met
A minimum of 5 years’ experience at a faculty and administrative level in a post-secondary environment An understanding of the Saudi Qualifications Framework and the Colleges of Excellence system is considered a definite asset Thorough understanding and demonstrated experience in assessing and developing integrated curriculum and program mapping Experience in collaborating with an HR team to ensure that training initiatives are well integrated as per the College’s talent management strategy within academic areas Experience in supervising/mentoring Chairs, vocational curriculum and applied learning Previous work with Subject Matter Experts in the design and delivery of training across multiple disciplines Thorough knowledge of teaching and learning strategies, including experience developing Blended Learning strategies, CALL (Computer Assisted Language Learning) activities and the integration of language lab software to support face-to-face instruction Experience in developing and monitoring schedules and timetables Thorough understanding of the linguistic, educational and cultural needs of the student population in Saudi Arabia and motivational strategies Experience delivering and organizing professional development sessions Experience implementing and/or using Learning Management System (LMS) Excellent and effective communication skills with students and staff at all levels Superior analytical, time management, prioritizing, collaboration, and building skills Experience living/working within an international environment
