Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervises the work of Senior Residents or Residents in the day-to-day management of patients in his/her department. Initiates tlié ivali tioii\“and treatment begun by the Senior Resident / Resident.
Ensures the highest standard of patient care and ability to assume greater.
Takes on-call duties in responsibility in matter of patient care accordance with the departmental rotii in all disciplines of Oncology.
Participates in the teaching of Residents.
Participates in the educational program, research and administrative activities of the department.
Commitment to , learning and,.training,.in„. pursuance.Sof career in his chosen specialty. .
Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
Work towards completion of postgraduate training and passing final part of Saudi Board or
Support the quality assurance activities of the team and actively contribute to the identification of need improvement in current service provision and strategies for introducing these.
Participates in the Environmental Safety Awareness, e. CPR, Fire and Safety, Infection Control and major disaster plans of the hospital as indicated.
Ensures continuous quality improvement and patient safety with full compliance to Joint Commission International (JCf) Accreditation Standards.
Participates and contributes to Continuous Quality Improvement and Patient Safety, System Control, Staff Development and Fire and Safety Practices.
Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities.
