Main Responsibilities
Increasing company revenue by identifying profitable business opportunities and developing long-term business growth strategies
Inaugurating, developing, and driving the organization’s business development strategies by creating and enhancing a portfolio of partners and continuously exploring new business opportunities
Increasing Brand Recognition and Market Share of the company by initiating different activities that directly impact our business goals and align with our growth directions
A day in your life
Develop and implement a business development strategy: The Business Development Lead should work closely with the Head of Business Development to develop a comprehensive strategy for growing AlGooru’s business. This may include identifying new markets, target customers, and potential partnerships
Identify and pursue new business opportunities: The Business Development Lead should be proactive in identifying new business opportunities and potential partnerships that align with AlGooru’s growth goals. should then work to build relationships with these potential partners and negotiate mutually beneficial deals
Foster partnerships with educational institutions and tutoring agencies: AlGooru’s success depends on strong relationships with educational institutions and tutoring agencies. The Business Development Lead should work to build and maintain these relationships, ensuring that AlGooru’s platform remains an attractive and valuable solution for these organizations
Collaborate with the marketing team: The Business Development Lead should work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute joint marketing campaigns with partners. This will help to increase awareness of AlGooru’s platform and drive user adoption
Stay up-to-date on industry trends: The Business Development Lead should be knowledgeable about the EdTech industry and stay up-to-date on the latest trends and developments. Also, be able to identify opportunities for AlGooru to differentiate itself from its competitors and remain a leader in the market
Represent AlGooru at events: The Business Development Lead should be an effective communicator and able to represent AlGooru at conferences, trade shows, and other industry events. also be able to articulate the value of AlGooru’s platform and network with potential partners and customers
Requirements
Experience needed
2+ years of experience in business development or a related field, with a strong track record of success
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and negotiate deals effectively
Experience in the EdTech industry and knowledge of the tutoring market is a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment
Strong analytical skills and the ability to think strategically and creatively
Fluent in English and Arabic, both written and spoken
