Description
Providing technical pre-sales support to promote company products to customers.Collaborating with key target customers to influence the early stages of the sales cycle, qualify prospects, and shape company product and service offering.Utilizing extensive technical knowledge and analytical skills to address customer questions regarding capability, system performance, network integration, competitive positioning, etc.Acting as the technical expert and customer solutions engineer for company products, services, and wider technologies critical to the commercial team, while staying up-to-date with the latest technology trends and becoming a trusted consultant to the customer base in the targetted sector.Driving the communication of the capabilities of the cmpany global network to prospective customers and assisting in capturing evolving market requirements to drive product development life cycles.Collaborating as part of a bid team to provide logical, technically robust, and commercially persuasive responses to formal and informal Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs).Defining and conducting customer demonstrations, including developing demonstrations of common customer use cases and pre-service end-to-end service trials.Interfacing with key end-users to educate them about the key aspects of comapny’s products and services.Playing a central role in supporting the commercial team to drive the uptake of the company’s products and services and increase revenue through prospective and existing accounts.
Profile
Bachelor’s degree (BSc/BEng) in a relevant technical field such as Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or Computer Sciences, or an equivalent qualification.Proven experience in providing robust technical advice and solutions to customers.Understanding of the challenges faced by Telcos and Carriers, and previous experience working in the telco industry vertical would be advantageous. Satellite industry experience is a must. Minimum of 7-10+ years of experience in a relevant Sales Engineering or Product Development position.Strong knowledge of end-to-end Data Network Solutions, Traffic Management, Quality of Service (QoS), and Network Security.Knowledge of Network Routing and Network Slicing.Familiarity with 3GPP/LTE systems would be an advantage.Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, both verbally and in writing.Commercially astute, with strong negotiation skills, and a proven ability to influence customer interactions and requirements in line with broader divisional/corporate goals.Willingness to travel, including domestic travel within Saudi Arabia and occasional international travel.Cultural awareness and the ability to build regional market knowledge and intelligence.
Location: The role is based in Saudi Arabia, and the candidate will live and work there, with occasional travel (20%) required both domestically and internationally.
