To develop and support the Technical Construction function through managing and leading. Monitoring the scope of work for different construction activities, ensuring progress through monitoring project evolution and contractor performance to ensure high-end and on-time delivery. Oversee the design process from pre-concept to construction and key handover.

Oversee the design process from pre-concept to construction documentationAnalyse the utility demand requirementsReview the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costsOversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulationsCoordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractorsSelect tools, materials and equipment and track inventoryMeet contractual conditions of performanceNegotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licencesDevelop project plans and schedules, identifying resource requirements and ensuring that they are metManage project budgets, ensuring that all costs are accurately recorded and trackedMonitor project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that ariseProvide regular project updates to senior management, ensuring that they are fully informed of project progressEnsure that projects are delivered in compliance with local regulations and client requirementsManage contractors to ensure compliance with project requirements and expectationsManage project documentation, including drafting and reviewing contracts and related documentsInterpret and understand contractual requirements, including payment terms, change orders, and variationsNegotiate contracts and resolve disputes
Profile
The successful candidate must have prior hospitality experience involving the development of hotels within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. 20+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
They will need to have strong Contract Management skills and experience, mainly FIDIC, managing projects, leadership skills, team management skills, and have one of these qualifications: PMP, MCIOB, MRICS.
