Duties and Responsibilities
Performs his/her duties and tasks as per Hospital Policy and Agreement on Professional Code of Conduct.
Actively participates in all quality and performance improvement activities within the department and the hospital as per the Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Plan.
Actively participates in the education requirement for the department and the hospital as per the Hospital Education Program.
Performs other applicable tasks and duties within the scope of practice and employment contract.
Assists in scheduling and performing planned preventive maintenance work on all HVAC equipment and systems throughout the site
Provides supervision to HVAC Mechanics and Helpers as and when required in their work
Supervises the repair and preventive maintenance work of air-handling units, fan coil units, split A/C units, package A/C units, window type A/C units, exhaust fans and systems and other similar equipment.
Carries out temperature and humidity tests in rooms, corridors and other parts of the buildings as and when required. Reset controls to correct conditions if readings are found to be incorrect
Checks and corrects balancing issues with supply, air, return air and exhaust air in all areas of the buildings as and when required to ensure correct air exchanges in the rooms.
Checks and re-calibrate all safety and control devices systems, comprising of temperature controllers, humidity controllers, temperature and humidity indicators, limit controllers, and any other devices.
Checks and re-calibrates HVAC actuators such as; two-way way and three-way motorized valves, volume dampers, fire dampers, and any other similar devices
Carries out preventive maintenance of field sensors such as; temperature sensors
(Room duct type) humidity sensors, differential pressure set points and positioning potentiometer and any other devices such as; pressure differential switches
المهارات
Should be able to perform test functions and interpret the correct readings when required.
Knowledgeable in Johnson controls, Honeywell or other similar control systems and be able to understand the standard schematic drawings. In addition, knowledge of Staefa Control Systems would be desirable.
Good written and oral communication skills in English.
Good working knowledge with Microsoft Office.
Ability to work as a team leader.
Able to work independently and able to manage priorities and tasks.
Knowledge for electrical wirings and controls.
