Monitor stocks for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar etc. and make appropriate orders within budget.
Monitor the equipment and utensils used for preparing dishes and inform the associated authorities about any existing defects.
Guide junior pastry chefs in executing their daily tasks like baking dishes, determining ingredients and understanding customer needs.
Create new decorations for bakery items like cakes and pastries to make the dishes beautiful, and add more variety to the menu.
We are looking to hire a Sous Chef - Pastry and Bakery for our production kitchen to be based in Riyadh, KSA.
1. We are looking for 2-3 years of experience in Pastry and Bakery.
2. To have European- Western cooking experience
3. To assist in executing standard recipes to ensure consistent quality in food production, thereby satisfying guest needs and expectations.
4. To have knowledge of Pastry & Bakery bulk production
5. To ensure that preparation is carried out to the correct specifications and recipes in a timely manner
المهارات
Certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking or relevant field.
Excellent creative skills and detail-oriented individual.
A passion for achieving finesse in all dishes.
The ability to prepare and present top-class bakery items with utmost professionalism.
