Prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
Conduct feasibility studies to determine the viability of a project, taking into account factors such as labor costs, materials, and timeframes
Manage project costs by monitoring expenses and preparing regular cost reports
Negotiate contracts with suppliers and contractors to obtain the best prices and terms
Prepare tender documents and analyze bids from contractors and suppliers
Manage subcontractor payments and certify completed work for payment
Advise on cost-effective design and construction methods to optimize project budget
Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure that work is being carried out according to plans and specifications
المهارات
Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to accurately calculate costs and manage budgets
Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders
Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and technologies
Familiarity with construction contracts and legal requirements
Proficiency in using specialized software, such as CostX and Bluebeam
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities and manage risks.
