Provide advice and assistance to Norwegian companies, organizations and authorities regarding business opportunities and local rules and procedures in Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Bahrain.
Connect Norwegian and local private sector stakeholders and support Norwegian companies regarding contact with local decision-makers.
Assist and advice Norwegian stakeholders participating in forums, conferences, and exhibitions.
Help organizing business and trade events, visits, and missions in the region and in Norway.
Provide input to speeches, reports, and social media postings.
Produce and update relevant information about business and trade in Norway, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Bahrain for web and social media.
Carry out promotional activities with a particular emphasis on energy, green transition, seafood, aquaculture, and maritime industries.
Promote dialogue and cooperation on business and trade internally, with other embassies/ consulates in the region, with “Team Norway” and with relevant authorities in Norway.
Promote dialogue and cooperation on business and trade with relevant actors in the GCC region.
Help promote Corporate Social Responsibility, including transparency and Gender Equality.
المهارات
Understanding of the business environment and markets in Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, and preferably Norway.
Fluency in English (verbal and spoken), and preferably Arabic mother tongue.
Strong networking, communication, and inter-personal skills.
At least five years relevant professional experience.
Analytical mindset and ability to think creatively.
Ability to work both in teams and independently.
Relevant educational background.
High personal integrity.
