General yet inclusive knowledge regarding aircraft’s structural design’s best practices and considerations
Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, routing instructions, manuals, and specifications.
Design part geometry and assembly using CAD software and develop structures.
Produce designs that are suitable for cost effective manufacture.
Understand GD&T;and apply it during the manufacturing process.
Day to day point of contact for project enquiries, with a direct interface to the Project Manager.
Updating software, drawings, and other documents.
المهارات
Proficiency in 3D modeling and CAD software such as SolidWorks and/or Inventor.
Proficiency with FEA and structural analysis programs such as ANSYS or equivalent.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with work colleagues and customers.
Demonstrated as an effective communicator, both orally and in writing, including the preparation of comprehensive technical reports.
Demonstrated strong desire to tackle technically challenging problems.
Demonstrated self-motivated and can perform with minimum supervision.
Excellent problem solving and decision
Ability to prioritize and complete projects on time and budget.
Experience in designing different aircraft’s structural components.
Experience in the FEA’s tools and setup.
