Take leading positions in project management and Systems Engineering.
Lead system design efforts.
Mentor technical team members.
Develop, manage, and track technology roadmaps.
Remain updated of latest technical innovations and trends to benchmark design efforts in ongoing and future projects.
Write system performance and requirement specification.
Develop algorithms and design protocols for wireless communications systems.
Develop algorithms and design protocols for adhoc networked communications systems.
Matlab & C/C++ a based communication systems modelling and simulator development.
Perform fixed point simulation and design.
Lead system architecture definition tasks.
Handoff to and work with the hardware and software team for system implementation,
testing, characterization, and troubleshooting.
Implement Systems Engineering Processes and practices in execution of assigned tasks.
Participate and lead communication subsystem integration into primary host systems.
Participate in field trials to verify conformance of developed prototypes/integrated subsystems, to system specifications.
المهارات
Must possess basic but strong background of RF devices, communications standards, and
antenna systems.
Communication systems design and development.
Knowledge of C/C++ and/or Python and/or MATLAB.
Knowledge of design and development of wireless systems.
Knowledge of design and development of communication waveforms
Knowledge of SDR development APIs such as IIO, UHD and other relevant Libraries.
Knowledge of modeling, simulation, and development of communication systems in GNU
Radio, C/C++, Matlab and LabVIEW.
Must be able to perform RF measurement using Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer,and Oscilloscope etc.
Must possess a working knowledge of RF signal propagation, channel modeling, digital communication technologies.
Knowledge of channel coding schemes.
Knowledge of established modem standards such as DVB-S/DVB-S2/DVB-T.
Knowledge of various communication waveforms (QPSK, QAM, GMSK) and DSSS and OFDM based systems.
Knowledge of signal processing algorithms.
Knowledge of MIMO systems.
Experience on embedded systems development around SDR/ SOM architectures.
Knowledge of implementing systems engineering processes and practices.
Knowledge of developing communication system using Matlab floating point modelling fixed point modelling and HDL generation.
Knowledge of Medium Access Controls and networking.
Knowledge of wireless ad-hoc networking and routing algorithms.
Experience with wireless communication hardware.
Experience with RF propagation modelling tools is desirable.
Desirable to be familiar with front-end simulation tools e.g., Advanced Design System (ADS), CST, Multisim, Microwave Office etc.
Desirable to have a basic idea of PCB design software e.g., Altium, Cadence etc.
