Produce error-free accounting reports and assist in maintaining Trial Balance on monthly basis for Distribution or other verticals as assigned
Responsible for supporting annual audit, tax filing/ quarterly review with external auditors where required
Assist in all treasury related matters and liaising with collectors/bank for bank deposits, forex buying and fund transfer letters
Maintaining or assist to maintain and reconcile Lease schedules as per IFRS 16
Liaising with accounting staff at Centre of Excellence (COE) for completing all accounting and payment related activities.
Reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances on monthly basis
Performing monthly balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position/budget variance analyses where required
Assisting in the design and preparation of budgets for review by management
Assist in any assessments related to tax or VAT as and when required
Maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash
Screen all the CAPEX spending and guarantee the CAPEX spending is inside the organisation spending plans/strategy
Assisting the VAT return filing team in monthly/quarterly filings, reconcile VAT revenues with TB and give sign off before VAT filing
Guarantee all the compliance concerning VAT, WHT, Zakat and other assessment prerequisites and essential profits are filed on time.
Guaranteeing all the statutory liabilities are paid well before the specified time frame
Supervise the delegated team resources or liase with the dedicated resources to achieve department objectives
Prepare critical, accurate and timely financial reports and ad-hoc analysis for relevant stakeholders.
Any other tasks as assigned by reporting manager.
المهارات
Prior work exposure in the capacity of a Tax Accountant working on relevant projects.
Knowledge of accounting procedures.
Prolific time management skills with an ability to handle challenging situations with utmost dedication.
Fundamental understanding of the functions and utility of software like Tally and other ERP solutions.
SAP/ MS Dynamics - Financial Reporting modules
Principals of Finance, Accounting and Auditing
MS Office (Excel – advanced level) Knowledge of SOCPA standards/ IFRS, Income Tax, Zakat, VAT & WHT.
