Inspects: Electronic Rooms, Platforms and GuidewayAttends to defects in Automatic Train Control (ATC) equipmentPerforms planned preventative maintenance for ATC & electronic equipment and recommends and implements measures to improve asset performance and reduce maintenance costs and/or response times.Ensures clear and concise daily records are maintained for failures, including preventative maintenance and actions takenAssists with the First Line Response TeamEnsures working and storage areas and duty vehicles, are kept in a clean and safe state and replenishes materials at the earliest opportunity.

Ability to communicate effectively, both written and orallyAdvanced working knowledge of computer equipment, networking, diagnostic software and IT toolsEffective analytical and judgment skills and ability to recognize when assistance is requiredStrong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritizeMinimum 2-year technical diploma in electronics or communications disciplinesMinimum 4 years journey person experience or equivalent in maintaining communications electronic systems equipment.A current BC Class 5 driver’s licenseMust be available to work 7 days per week, including weekends and holidays on a 24 hour shift basis
