Objectives:
Our client is a leading retail company based in Riyadh, with a diversified businesses activity. The company is looking for an IT Director, to supervising the achievement of the goals of digital transformation, preparing plans related to the mechanization and automation of technical processes in the company, developing tools and electronic knowledge of them, making recommendations thereon, defining hardware and software specifications according to the needs of different departments and sections, participating in the evaluation and selection of the appropriate ones, and following up the implementation and operation of policies, programs and procedures for information systems and their operation. Providing and implementing technical and informational solutions to develop the company’s work methods and control over the inputs and outputs of the systems in order to process and provide data and information for the purposes of performance follow-up, knowledge of results, help in decision-making and benefit from this information in planning and control.
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to the preparation of plans related to information technology, automation of the company’s business, and ways to develop the systems and devices used.
Establishing and developing detailed policies for information system functions, defining the powers of access to information in the various departments, setting the necessary procedures to ensure information security and the security of information systems, and following up on their implementation.
Supervising the preparation of economic feasibility studies for projects to develop systems and devices used in the company, and preparing the estimated budget for the management’s work and its requirements.
Supervising the development of computer information systems for the various activities and procedures in the company and determining all administrative, production, marketing and financial processes that are required to be computerized.
Examining the studies and research conducted in the field of information technology with regard to the nature of the company’s activities, studying and analyzing the suggestions submitted by the directors of the departments regarding the latest developments and methods and techniques in this field with the aim of adopting what is appropriate from them and following up on the implementation of the procedures related to them
Presenting suggestions and recommendations to senior management regarding improving the technical business environment.
Supervising the preparation of emergency plans to save and retrieve information and ensure that important data backups are made.
Work on building electronic knowledge in the various departments of the company through the development of plans and training programs to qualify all employees to use modern technologies and apply the systems and programs used.
Setting standards for management activities such as analysis, design, development of programs and operation of devices, and ensuring their application and adherence to them.
Supervising the development of technical specifications for the necessary automated devices and systems in line with the company’s current and future needs, evaluating bids and selecting the appropriate ones according to the approved procedures in this regard
Reviewing and supervising the preparation and implementation of the company’s needs plan for the necessary hardware and software.
Preparing plans to modify, develop and improve the programs and devices used for data processing.
Ensuring the safety of the procedures followed to maintain the safety of the computers used
Supervising the design and development of internal networks in the company and determining the protocols related to the process of using them
Follow up on the development and application of operations systems with the concerned departments.
Improving the work environment by providing advice and administrative guidance at work to the team of its departments on an ongoing basis and identifying training needs for them in accordance with the approved training system in the company.
Supervising closely the technical support of the various departments and supervising the preparation of periodic plans for the maintenance of the automated devices and systems used in the company and ensuring their implementation.
Supervising the company’s website, according to the requirements of the concerned departments, and following up on its development and updating periodically.
المهارات
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent, and a Master’s degree is preferred
Good experience in leadership positions with well-known and advanced companies in the field of technology.
