الوصف الوظيفي Job Title: Consultant Pediatrics Emergency Education and Licensure Mandatory: * Saudi Board, Arab Board, American Board, or Canadian in related specialty or its equivalent internationally recognized high medical qualifications are an essential requirement that is accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties. * A subspecialty degree/Fellowship Certification at least 2-years program in Pediatrics Emergency Medicine or it’s equivalent internationally recognized high medical qualifications are an essential requirement that is accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties. * A valid license as a Consultant to practice his specialty in the country of origin and from Saudi Commission for Healthcare Specialties. * Current valid certification of Pediatrics Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), or obtaining these within 6 months of commencement of employment. * Membership in the Emergency Department Board and participate in any other hospital committee. Mandatory: * Minimum of (3) three years of professional experience in the practice of the specialty after obtaining a high medical degree. * Preferably within a managerial level and with teaching experience in the medical field. * Fluent in written and spoken English, fluency in Arabic would be of advantage. * Good general health, ability to work extended hours under stress, isolation, and at high altitudes, mobility, near visual acuity, and no uncorrected audiological problems. * Excellent leadership and communication skills. * Teaching: To demonstrate skills required for educational training to medical students, and professions. * Research: To demonstrate a proven ability and track record of engagement in research relating to the specialty.
