KSMC Riyadh, Saudi Arabia 6 Apr, 2022 Years of Experience 3 - 10 Years Experience Level Senior Level Job Description 1- Provides a comprehensive epilepsy investigative service to both inpatients and outpatients. 2- Able to diagnosis 1st seizure patients, deal with complex epilepsy, identify intractable epilepsy cases and refer for pre surgical assessment. 3- The epileptologist must ensure that personal information for patients, members of staff and all other individuals is accurate. 4- Monitor and maintain high professional standards of Neurophysiological services to patients and may initiate remedial action where necessary. 5- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure services meet changing healthcare needs. 6- Provide support and assistance to neurology and epilepsy staff in dealing with difficult and conflicting situations including those that are of a clinical/professional nature. 7- Participate in the implementation of policies. 8- Perform Electroencephalographic (EEG) investigations employing current standard techniques without supervision in the EEG laboratory taking appropriate action(s) 9- Perform long term EEG monitoring and long term EEG and video monitoring taking appropriate action(s). 10- Provide an evaluation and quantification on a range of Neurophysiological investigations and generate detailed factual reports. 11- Maintain continuous professional development appropriate to the range of epilepsy services to patients. 12- Provide an on call coverage for epilepsy and neurology services 13- Educating and counseling individuals, families, co-workers, educators, and other persons in the community regarding patient’s situation and the methods of care and treatment. Job Requirements
Required Qualification
- Neurology Board - Sub Specialty in Neurology with Epilepsy Fellowship Training (at least 1 year)
Required License / Certificates
- Valid registration from SCFHS - BLS must be valid
Required Experiences
- 3 years experience
