Responsibilities:
•Responsible for managing the infrastructure design review process and content management ensuring the compliance with the Employer Requirements, the Client s Design Review Procedures, and Stakeholder Requirements throughout all the design stages
•Assist the Senior Project Managers in proactively and collaboratively managing the Design Consultant
•Review the Design submissions and coordinate with Design Review Teams operating from other offices
•Proactively monitor the design as it is being developed by the Design Consultant, ensuring the design is being suitably coordinated and complies with the Project Brief and Employers Requirements
•Assist in managing the design change control process in coordination with the Senior PM and Contracts Team
•Manage periodic design peer reviews, ensuring the design complies with authority requirements, meets sustainability targets and is reviewed for constructability and operability
•Review specifications
•Contribute to manage the design schedule by the Consultants and meeting the design review schedule
•Manage the delivery of the design in accordance with the Employers BIM requirements
•Coordinate with other Design Managers on the project deliverables
•Contribute in preparation of weekly and monthly design progress reports

Education and Experience :-
Bachlors Degree in engineering (by a Western University), with atleast 20 years extensive design and construction experience. The Manager shall have outstanding client relationship building skills and shall possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Thorough knowledge of contractual matters and project control is a must for this position.
Should have experience in writing and pricing proposals and shall be capable of effectively communicating the project requirements to personnel involved in the project execution. The Manager should be able to implement the Quality Management System on his projects effectively and should have prior experience with approvals from different Government/Regulatory bodies for the Project Execution. The Infrastructure Design Manager shall be capable of working with different agencies/departments like client, contractor, construction department, etc.
