Engineer / Sr. Engineer – Planning & Cost Control - Solar

JOB PURPOSE:

Managing the following:

· Development of Project master schedule in coordination with different disciplines/departments

· Creation of Baseline, resource allocation and S-Curve generation for project

· Monitoring & Periodical update of project schedule

· Studying targets versus actual performance rates

· Monitoring the progress on site against the approved time schedule

· Submitting weekly and monthly progress reports to project manager and client.

· Preparation of Project Budget & Periodical monitoring of the same and submission of reports to Project manager and Planning manager

· Monitoring of Sub Contractor schedules and alignment with alfanar requirements.

· Coordinating Weekly/Biweekly Plan Vs Actual progress review meeting with Sub-Contractors and Minute of meeting circulation and follow up.

· Conduct Fortnight/ Monthly project review meetings with internal stakeholders.

· Cashflow Preparation – Cash in / Cash out as per project timeline.

· Periodical Resource estimations for Project & report generation for Plan Vs Actual available resources

· Preparing / Coordination of time extension, cost claims and Risk prediction / evaluation.

Recovery / Crash schedules preparations

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

2.  Project Master Schedule :

· Preparation of baseline schedule

· Resource allocation and S Curve generation

· Assignment of Baseline and monitoring and control of project

· Evaluate Plan Vs Actual Project Progress

· Recovery / Crash plans

· Project Budget Preparation and monitoring of monthly basis – Committed Vs balance to Complete, Biweekly and Monthly Progress reports.

3.  Advice & Support:

· Process & Progress

· Risk Evaluation and Reporting

· Cash Flow

· Consultation and approval with departmental manager, Overcome Delays and Cost overrun

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor of Engineering – Electrical / Mechanical

Minimum Experience:

(5-7 Years) – Experience in Solar PV / CSP EPC Projects (Minimum 150 MW Executed capacity) and related Interconnection works.

Generic Skills:

· Knowledge on Primavera P6,

· Resource Management,

· SAP Program (System and Application Production) or similar ERP systems

· M.S Office (Excel).

· M.S Project, Technical Knowledge of Solar PV Project.
