BWP is representing a diversified infrastructure investment and development company. The business is developing assets across multiple classes inside the Kingdom and internationally including renewable energy, social infrastructure and digital infrastructure.
As part of continued expansion and success the business is looking to hire a Financial Controller based in Riyadh. The Financial Controller will be responsible for the provision of financial support, accounting services and financial reporting across the group to ensure compliance, efficient financial management and consolidation of assets in the operating portfolio.
Responsibilities:
To present and report to the board on the financial performance of the group companies (SPVs, IPPs, PPPs, subsidiaries, etc.)
Manage the yearly financial audit and submission of statutory accounts process (IFRS-based accounting, Oracle/ERP)
Develop control and risk frameworks addressing process and protocol
Taxation and review of corporation tax computations across the group (tax planning and optimization, monthly/annual tax filings and payments, zakat, WHT etc.).
Preparation of monthly consolidated management accounts
Preparation, coordination and submission of monthly financial report
Assist on managing the group cash flow forecasts and other more commercially focussed duties (Capex and Opex budgets, forecast, business analysis, cost control)
End-to-end responsibility in origination of new loans/credit lines including but not limited to:
Identifying list of suitable banks
Obtaining term sheets and negotiation of financing documents,
Liaise with legal teams, consultants towards finalization of the documents including shareholder losans, shareholder agreements obligations
Undertake KYC, and other onboarding activities
Create capital allocation strategy, business plan, financial projections
Support the senior management in capital raising activities both internally within the group and externally
Foster new relationships with regional and international banks
المهارات
Profile and Experience requirements:
Strong accounting fundamentals and experience, preferably in Big 4 corporate finance advisory, audits, reporting, etc.
7+ years of relevant experience; have a solid track record of executing large and complex transactions in Infrastructure, Energy, Renewables
Knowledge of Project Finance and the various commercial terms sheets within IPP, PPP transactions is a plus
Fluent in the corporate debt market, financing trends and players in the market with a proven track record of advising corporates on their capital structure
A demonstrated experience of working with Equity Bridge Loans, Letter of Credits, Bonds, Term Facilities with regional or international banks.
He/she will have a demonstrated ability to build personal relationships with executives internally and within the financing community
Have successful track record of identifying/sourcing/creating new debt opportunities and bringing them to a close in a team-based environment
Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with post qualified experience
Strong technical accounting skills
Experience in group consolidation
Experience reporting into large holding companies beneficial
Experience working with SPVs in infrastructure or power and Project Finance is beneficial
Advanced Excel skills
Confident communicator to C-suite level
