Duties and Responsibilities

2.1 Assists in dispensing of pharmaceuticals for in-patients and out-patients (Prepare medication to be ready for dispensing).

2.2 Assists in receiving and checking the medicines received from the Pharmacy Store against orders from Pharmacy.

2.3 Displays the above mentioned medicines on their proper shelves and in refrigerators, doing the stock rotation at the same time.

2.4 Maintains levels of dispensing stocks and to check expiry date.

2.5 Participates in pre-packing operation.

2.6 Prepares various pharmaceutical preparations under the direction of Pharmacist.

2.7 Responds to various queries by the prescribers.

2.8 Performs clerical duty in collecting/recording the data for the prescriptions dispensed during the month.

2.9 Maintains orderliness/good hygiene in the Pharmacy.

2.10 To involved in Continuous Quality Improvement and Patient Safety task.

2.11 Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and ability.

المهارات
1. Experience of unit-dose system.

2. Good command of written and spoken English (and Arabic if possible).

3.Interest in Computers.
