Duties and Responsibilities
Performs his/her duties and tasks as per Hospital Policy and Agreement on Professional Code of Conduct.
Actively participates in all quality and performance improvement activities within the department and the hospital as per the Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Plan.
Actively participates in the education requirement for the department and the hospital as per the Hospital Education Program.
Performs other applicable tasks and duties within the scope of practice and employment contract
Responsible for the development, implementation, quality assurance and review of Department Policies and Procedures.
Responsible for the review and completion of all maintenance requisitions in a timely manner.
Responsible for assessing the compatibility and safety of all new medical equipments.
Responsible for the establishment and implementation of a preventive maintenance schedule and breakdown maintenance system.
Ensures the correct operation and maintenance of all control C.S.P. Panels of the Building Automation system and monitoring system.
Ensures correct operation of all communication systems which include telephones, nurse-call, B.A.S., fire alarms and other systems.
Updates and maintains program back-ups for E.M.S., telephone system, B.A.S. and other systems.
Provides technical advice to technicians to check, repair and calibrate electronic modules.
Orders spare parts for maintenance of equipment and establish critical parts lists, including minimum and maximum stock levels for stock items.
Analyze cost/work schedules, set priorities and expedite operations and repairs.
Responsible for the preparation/approval of personnel evaluations/actions within the Bio-Med/Electronics Engineering Department.
Responsible for the preparation of various reports when required, including monthly reports.
Participate on safety, procurement and other committees as required.
Provide documentation for material requirements including establishment of stock items.
Designs and supervises the installation of all new electronics and bio-medical engineering projects.
It is mandatory for the incumbent to wear during working hours semi-formal western style clothes to coincide with the work place.
The incumbent should take over the responsibilities from time to time of other Department Head (Manager) who is absent from site due to annual leave or other official leave as directed by the Director of Engineering.
The incumbent should officially hand over all responsibilities to the staff that would officially take over his responsibilities during the incumbent absence from site, specifically when the incumbent will be away from the site for one week or more.
The incumbent will provide “On-Call” duties for Engineering Division as scheduled through the “On-Call-Rota” as required by the Director of Engineering. It is the duty of the incumbent to officially swap his on-call schedule to the next on-call engineer/supervisor whenever the incumbent has the scheduled on-call during his annual leave or other official leave.
المهارات
Advanced knowledge in Personal Computer.
Advance knowledge in Microsoft Application Software.
Good command in English both written and oral.
Good knowledge in CAD and other graphic software.
