الوصف الوظيفي The CNC Operator is required to use computer numerically controlled (CNC) machinery safely and accurately to perform a variety of functions. After a CNC programmer develops instructions for a computer controller based on blueprints, a set-up CNC operator downloads the program and performs test operations to ensure the product is made to specifications. A CNC lathe operator then takes over production, running the machine and monitoring it for problems. The position requires highly skilled professionals, able to work with great concentration and precision. The candidate must be responsible and comply with all safety guidelines. A keen eye for detail and great mechanical aptitude are also essential. The goal is to produce high quality parts and materials by programming machines to perform the right operations. SCOPE OF WORK · Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as bending, shearing, punching. · Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc. · Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function. Programs mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs. · Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines. Sets-up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting three- and four-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers; indicating vices; tramming heads. · Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications. Loads feed mechanism by lifting stock into position. Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces, adhering to international standards. · Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large number of parts. · Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result. Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes. · Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly. · Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality. Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs. · Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. · Plans stock inventory by checking stock to determine amount available; anticipating needed stock; placing and expediting orders for stock; verifying receipt of stock. · Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. · Documents actions by completing production and quality logs. المهارات Proven experience as CNC operator تفاصيل الوظيفة https://www.bayt.com/ar/saudi-arabia/jobs/cnc-machine-operator-bending-sharing-punching-machine-4408053/ |
