monitor construction projects from beginning to end.
Manage the budget and estimate costs.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
Solve the completed problems which raised from project supervisor.
meet with contractors to follow up projects status and to solve projects obstacles.
Negotiate with external vendors on contract agreements.
Allocate and manage resources to ensure that they are available when they are needed throughout the construction projects.
Keep the high management aware of the progress on projects and prepare progress reports regularly.
Handle any environmental or local community issues that may come up during a project.
Organizing and motivating a project team
Approving the architectural, electrical and mechanical plans.
Continuous improvement and development of materials used in projects.
Approving of the samples submitted by the contractor.
Approving the specifications used in the projects.
Create the appropriate project contract formula, set the necessary time period for the project, set the penal conditions, and the most appropriate distribution of the payments.
monitor the final hand over for the new branches.
prepare RFQ for new stores.
prepare the projects BOQ.
Effectively delegate any maintenance issues to be resolved on each shift and small projects to the right skills in the team, planning and managing effective works
Audit and ensure compliance of the engineering data systems.
Manage the team to ensure machine availability, reactively managing dysfunctional machinery with the Shift management.
Optimize equipment according to standard procedure, enhancing performance and product quality, ensuring the achievement of all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Develop clear accountability for maintenance material spend combined with a strategy to manage expenditure.
Manage systems and equipment data storage and maintain high levels of standards and accuracy.
Manage the process of disposal of obsolete machinery equipment from gaining agreement to write off to physically removing it and its safe and lawful disposal.
Undertake continuous training and development.
Perform root cause analysis, resolve problems and find permanent solutions
Ensure KPIs are met by working to the overall plan, including management of, and reporting.
Manage contractors on site to ensure they meet legal and company requirements.
Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors.
Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems.
Oversee equipment stock and place orders for new supplies when necessary.
Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation.
Manage relationships with contractors, outsource maintenance companies and service providers.
monitor and review a normal maintenance schedule, emergency schedule, preventive maintenance lists, preventive maintenance schedule and technical reports.
