Role Description:
To record and updated financial record timely closing of all ERP module and work closely to implement Fixed asset module in Lawson S3 and prepare information for strategic and operational decisions at AlDara in order to meet quality standards and delivery dates within AlDara
Key Activities:
1. Sr. Accountant duties:
Prepare work papers supporting the monthly close process and month end balances.
Review and double check all work papers prepared by the rest of the team for monthly close purposes.
Assist to Chief Accountant to prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements and related footnotes.
Maintain Aldara Medical Co’s general ledger for accuracy and completeness.
Ensure the recording of fixed asset and implementation of fixed asset module in Lawson S3.
Shouldered responsibility of ensuring that Cashiering, Payroll and Accounts Payable functions are always covered and that the work they perform is properly supervised.
Assist for budget process together with the Chief accountant & Financial Analyst.
Ensure SOCPA and IAS compliance.
Coordinate the preparation of annual Zakat returns and annual financial statement audits.
Possess up-to-date knowledge of operations.
Other duties as assigned
2. Policies, Processes and Procedures:
Follow all relevant Finance policies, procedures, and controls so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
Participate in the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices considering leading practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction, and productivity improvement.
Promote the implementation and adherence to policies, procedures, and controls to others within AlDara.
Report on changes within AlDara that impact relevant policies, procedures and controls.

Necessary Knowledge and Experience:
5 years of experience in finance in a hospital/healthcare environment
Understand and meet the criteria and standards developed by the Joint Commission International and appropriate standards for a hospital facility
Education and Certification Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or equivalent is required
Competencies / Skills:
Ability to interact professionally with people at all levels of the organization • Data query, refinement and summation into clear results
Experience with ERP accounting and finance systems
Independent worker
Maintenance of confidentiality on sensitive information
Multitasking and prioritization
Proficient knowledge of MS Office
Strong capacity for accuracy
