On behalf of a global Retail client, we are seeking a Restaurant Technology IT Specialist. Based in Riyadh and reporting to Supervisor of Restaurant Technology.
You will maintain the new stores’ information systems to ensure that they function effectively and reliably and in accordance with user needs
Keep systems up to date through operating systems upgrades.
Monitor performance, network availability, and security.
Troubleshooting for system errors
Provide helpdesk support for network issues.
Provide technical support either by phone, remote access, or site visits as needed.
Respond to IT issues, hardware maintenance, software, networking, etc.
Evaluate connectivity issues, equipment, and software.
Install and update network system improvements as needed.
Assist with LAN/WAN, computer repair/troubleshooting software, networks, virus protection, Wi-Fi technology, etc.
Check computer hardware (HDD, mouses, keyboards, etc.) to ensure functionality.
Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule.
Identify computer or network equipment shortages and inform to place orders.
المهارات
Degree/equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional)
Proven experience as IT Technician or relevant position, able to adapt and possesses learnability
Basic diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Good communication ability
Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
Basic understanding of various computer systems and networks
Basic knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
