General:
Develop the IT strategy in line with the company strategy
Develop and implement policies and procedures ensuring high-quality services in line with laws, regulations, and best practices
Develop and implement IT training for employees in coordination with the relevant HR team
Budgeting:
Support the Head of Administrative and Support Services in setting the yearly budget in line with plans and need
IT System and Applications:
Analyze the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs
Hire vendors to support the design, development, and implementation of new required systems/applications or the update of existing ones to include additional functionalities
Manage vendors relationships to ensure on-time and quality delivery within budget
Test and analyze newly implemented applications to ensure proper functioning and activation
Manage the maintenance of systems to resolve defects and ensure user satisfaction and efficiency
Develop and maintain IT systems and applications and provide support to staff as needed
Develop standards and protocols for IT and network use
Use and manage databases, apps, spreadsheets and other commonly used applications and peripherals
Manage and update databases (for example of wildlife records, visitor records, law enforcement management information, statistics, etc.) using generic or specialized applications
Remain up to date on market trends and propose improvements
Suggest future enhancements to IT architecture, including applications and infrastructure
Ensure that IT systems are properly backed-up
Ensure documentation of applications for future uses

IT Services:
Oversee and manage outsource supplier contracts and negotiations for provision of IT Help Desk Services
Improve IT Help Desk Services methods as needed to increase productivity
Capture, integrate, and organize physical and digital data in the data management system as per the predefined policies and standards
Ensure stable operation of data systems infrastructure to minimize the loss of valuable information in case of any unexpected events
Address employees’ requests and offer technical support (either internally or through managing external providers)
Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications
Assess the need for new software/ hardware and set specifications
Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders
Manage upgrades as needed and administer user profiles
Track, reallocate and dispose of IT assets
Report on current IT equipment allocation
Implement and monitor user security
Ensure all online certificates are up to date and valid
Ensure secure use of IT (virus checking, updating software, backing up, etc.) by implementing data security procedures against internal and external threats
Ensure proper compliance with authority restrictions and policies
Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance of computers and peripherals (printers, scanners, plotters, etc.) without deterring others from completing their work
Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging, etc...)
Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule
Provide orientation and guidance to staff on how to operate new software and computer equipment
