You will maintain positive and proactive relations with our Client, key stakeholders and employees of the business by means of assisting with the ongoing day-to-day provision of Risk Analysis support, advice, training, and reporting functions.
Perform risk analysis, management and prevention activities for company systems.
Assess potential risks in business systems and develop appropriate mitigation plans.
Monitor business systems and identify and report violations of risk limits.
Analyze audit findings and assist in implementing audit recommendations.
Identify areas of concerns and suggest actions items.
Review business contracts, terms and scope to identify any risks.
Propose new techniques and technologies for risk analysis and management.
Review and recommend improvements to existing risk modelling techniques.
Assist in internal audits when required.
Respond to client queries and concerns professionally.
Work with management in identifying and developing best practices according to industry standards.
Suggest enhancements to company process and policies to avoid operational risks.

Ensure that all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated.
Co-ordinate the development of HSSE guidelines and operating procedures.
Assist health and safety training records are documented.
Support programme of documented HSSE inspections, audits and checks.
Assist and conduct a structured programme of health & safety training (including a well-developed induction program) for project staff, contractors, implementing partners, consultants and other stakeholders.
Support with all aspects of relevant health, safety & welfare at work legislation and communicate relevant changes to the stakeholders.
Provide and assist in regular reports to the Head of Programme on relevant HSSE activities.
Participate in regular site meetings to report on relevant HSSE matters and to provide necessary advice.
Assist programmes/projects to meet UNOPS HSE standards and to prepare for and meet the requirements of external audits for ISO 14 001 and OHSAS 18 001;

QUALIFICATIONS:
A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Health and Safety Management, Environmental Management, Civil Engineering, Natural Sciences or other relevant discipline is required.
Diploma with additional 2 years of relevant work experience to the above duties and responsibilities may be accepted in lieu of Bachelor Degree.
EXPERIENCE:
At least 2 years of experience in the infrastructure sector.
A proven track record experience managing health and safety in construction, manufacturing, mining or similar production environments is an asset.
Experience in health & safety and environment management is an asset.
Proficient in the use of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), contract management software and experience in handling web-based management systems.
Desirable:
Experience working in Middle East.
Training delivery experience.
Budgetary experience
Training Requirement
Must meet all qualification requirements at the application stage, no further training provided.
Lines of Communication
Must have an ability to work closely with other Senior Managers across the Client’s business units as well as Head Office. Must be comfortable operating in a multi-cultural workplace.
Working Condition
Based in Riyadh with a requirement to travel across the Kingdom to visit client sites as required.
