الوصف الوظيفي Abides by the Medical Staff Bylaws, Code of Medical Ethics, Rules and Regulations of the Medical Staff and those specific to the department. To exercise the highest possible standard of patient care according to his clinical privileges and available resources. Uses clinical skills and methods appropriate to a primary care setting to analyse the patient’s complaints and establish a plan of action in his/her best interest. Assessment of the medical/health problems presented by patients including taking history, investigation and diagnosis as appropriate. Manage the common health problems present in the community presented to the PHC clinic. Maintaining patient confidentiality. Refers patients to his senior colleagues in Family Medicine or to the appropriate specialist for opinion or treatment as deemed necessary. Establishes a therapeutic relationship with patients/families in an effort to promote compliance and shared participation in a caring environment. Follows up those patients with on-going or chronic illness or when a therapeutic response requires evaluation. Reports and discusses unusual findings, complications or alterations in the management plan, with his senior colleagues as necessary. Fulfills the requirements of the Saudi Council for Health Specialties with regard to continuing medical education and Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate. Shares workload in his specialty during the absence of his colleagues. Strives to improve his clinical expertise as well as the standard of practice with regard to morbidity and cost-effectiveness. Participates in the Major Disaster Plan of the hospital, as indicated. Provide preventive health service for; Primary Health education and Immunization Secondary Early detection of diseases by screening if needed Tertiary Rehabilitation المهارات Self-motivated and with an awareness of current trends in the field. Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment. Ability to speak, write and read Arabic and English.
