Aviation Ground Support Equipment Mechanic

الوصف الوظيفي
Conducts assessment and repair of light duty trucks, UTV’s, general grounds equipment, generators, small engines and Aviation Ground Support Equipment (AGSE) assigned to the Airfield. Additionally, inspects, maintains, and repairs GSE to include Aviation Ground Power Units (AGPUs) in accordance with applicable manuals

المهارات
1.  Must have the ability to work different shifts.

2.  Ability to work unsupervised.

3.  Ability to use required tools and special equipment to accomplish assigned tasks.

4.  Ability to work high-tech electro-mechanical aircraft support equipment.

5.  Ability to lift, up to 50 pounds unassisted.

6.  Ability to climb and work on maintenance platforms as required.

7.  Demonstrated performance in the maintenance of gasoline and diesel vehicles, electrical auxiliary power units and hydraulic support equipment.

8.  Must work under safe conditions (wear safety and personal protective equipment as required).

9.  Must possess the ability to troubleshoot and repair.

10.  Proficient in the use of computer-hosted interactive technical manuals, aircraft maintenance forms, and other aircraft related documentation.

11.  Proficient in MS Office software.

12.  Professional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

13.  Ability to effectively communicate with the customer in a professional and courteous manner.

14.  Possess a valid driver’s license.
