Duties and Responsibilities:
•Write QA/QC plans; Perform land/field surveys referencing National PRMs grid data sheetsand geodetic calculations.
Highly experienced in Total Station and their associated software.
• Use of AutoCAD and other related software.
2.Collaboration and working as part of a team.
•Work in conjunction with engineers to solve project design problems, performing basic design calculations as required.
•Work under the direction of the Project Manager;
•Conduct technical, feasibility studies and site investigations
•Liaison with teams working
•Good communicator.
• Interface and verify project survey requirements.
• Complete the surveying requirements on schedule and within man-hour budgets.
• Check setting-out and levels. Check services locations and ensure their protection.
• Prepare sketches and keep a detailed field log to support the field work. Maintain all the survey information (field books, sketches and calculations).
• Measure work done when required.
• Observe site safety procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of ‘as-built’ drawings.
• Act positively, and participate in all health and safety issues at site, as required by the Resident Engineer, and project Safety Representative.
• Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Experience in undertaking 3D detailed utilities surveying
• Knowledge and/or experience in using CAD software and survey software, total station, data collectors and GPS equipment.
• Working knowledge of construction sequences and standard work procedures of the industry.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Commitment to safe work practices; follow safe work practices and adhere to company guidelines and policies for planning and executing work in a safe manner.

•A flexible approach to working hours and travel; with occasional weekend work required.
