Work closely with engineers and architects to develop plans, establish timetables, and determine labor and material costs.
Responsible for ensuring the project is completed on budget and within scope.
Plan and arrange visits to potential, new, and existing clients to ensure they have everything they need.
Plan and supervise both commercial and residential construction projects from start to finish.
Organize and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding the budget.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, etc. to determine the specifications of the project.
Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities.
Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations.
Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met.
Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies.
Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities.
Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics, etc. and give them guidance when needed.
Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports.
Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.
المهارات
BSc/BA in engineering, building science or relevant field.
12+ Yrs of experience in construction projects, with at least 5 Yrs as Project Manager or Construction Manager.
Experience in the Saudi Market.
Transferable Iqama is a must.
Experience in the construction field.
In-depth understanding of construction procedures and project management principles.
Assertive application for quality, health and safety standards.
Very good with MS Office.
Familiarity with construction/ project management software.
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
A team player with leadership abilities.
Safety & Reliability leadership.
PMP, IPMA or equivalent certification is a must.
Drive for results.
Optimization of costs & resources.
Commercial awareness – and understanding of how your actions can affect the profitability of a project.
