الوصف الوظيفي Performs Ultrasonic diagnostic procedures. Essential Responsibilities and Duties- 1. Reviews exam orders/requisitions, reviews corresponding protocol and, if needed, asks questions of superior(s) and prepares for exam. Selects proper equipment depending upon depth of field, organ and area of interest. 2. Performs scanning procedures with attention to patient care, quality imaging and efficient management of time. Communicates with the Ultrasound physicians to ensure that all images are satisfactory. 3. Explains procedure to patient. Instructs patient regarding required positions. Assists patient in assuming position. 4. Archives images and submits all images and pertinent data for subsequent use. 5. Performs and documents equipment quality control procedures. Informs supervisor of equipment malfunction and/or need for repairs. Calibrates equipment and performs routine maintenance and documents this accordingly. 6. Cleans and sanitizes the used equipment after finish with every patient. 7. Participates in staff meetings, in services and/or continuing education. 8. Assists in training and supervision of students, interns and trainees and evaluates their performance. 9. Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures. 10. Participates in self and others education, training and development, as applicable. المهارات Education Bachelor Degree in Radiological Sciences/Technology OR Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program (minimum 2 Years) with eligibility for registration with the Saudi Council for Health Professionals required.
