MADAYA is in search of a creative, talented interior designer to design beautiful, functional spaces for commercial and residential clients.
The ideal candidate for our interior designer position is a team player who is effective at collaborating with colleagues and partners but is also self-motivated and able to complete work to deadlines with minimal supervision.
A visual portfolio of past projects is mandatory for the interior designer candidate.
Job Responsibilities will include:
- Working with the client to determine their goals and requirements for the project
- Space Planning expertise
- Collaborate with architects, builders, mechanical and structural engineers, and other members of the project team to create and implement a design plan
- Create preliminary design schemes, either by hand-sketching or AutoCAD
- Specifying materials and furnishings to be used, such as flooring, furniture, lighting, plumbing fixtures, and wall finishes
- Develop a project timeline and estimates for project costs
- Obtain client approval for interior design plan and cost estimate
- Place orders for all supplies and materials
- Oversee installation of the design elements
- Debrief with client after project completion to ensure that goals were met and the project was done to the customer’s satisfaction
المهارات
- Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related discipline
- 3-5 years’ relevant interior design experience
- In touch with industry trends
- In-depth knowledge of furniture systems and finishes
- Strong understanding of basic principles of space planning
- Excellent time management & the ability to work under pressure.
- Able to develop and present design concepts to team or client
- Ability to provide site supervision to follow up construction implementation
- Strong verbal & written communication skills to communicate with suppliers, team mates, clients, and superiors.
- Excellent AutoCAD drafting skills
- Ability to produce high-quality 3D shots with 3Dsmax or similar
