الوصف الوظيفي Reports to: Regional Fleet Supervisor Primary Purpose of the Job: To assure smooth fleet daily operations by performing below duties. Principal Accountabilities: Tracking and follow ups with outbound drivers and assure safe and on time delivery by monitoring the GPS system. Tracking and follow ups with Inbound drivers / Service provider and assure safe and on time delivery by follow-up and maintain the records of process time, for example Time of receiving and sending shipment card, time of reaching to warehouse,… etc. Compare between required and available trucks and drivers, and response accordingly (renting, rescheduling …etc.) Assure efficient truck utilization by making an efficient rout planning for each trip to assure maximum reduction of operating cost and correct shipment weight and capacity. Issuing a complete shipment document ( inbound/outbound delivery note) Follow up and renew all type of licenses (registration, inspection, operation card) two months before expiry date to avoid any government violation. Receive and Consolidate delivery orders from different departments. Apply good safety procedure for goods, trucks and driver by following the daily checklist form to ensure for readiness. Entering maintenance notification and follow up the breakdown cases with workshop to return vehicles to road ASAP. Assure on time routine/preventive maintenance for trucks by maintains Odometer records for each vehicles and work orders in SAP. Analyse the drivers performance during trip and give the drivers the trip allowance based on company’s policy. Keep the trucks up and running in good working condition by performing timely maintenance and required repairs.
Build and maintain positive relations with Customers, Departments, nd Co-Workers by respective responding for all telephone & electronic communications to ensure that request or problem is solved. Handover and receiving the vehicle from user by checklist to ensure no damage on vehicle to keep ready and clean to use from another user. Report to Regional Transportation Supervisor if there is any damage on vehicle from user to repair under user’s cost. Sending daily, weekly & monthly reports Regional Transportation Supervisor if required. Supervises: Drivers Liaises with: Customers Service providers Warehouse Team Sales team Supply chain team Workshop team المهارات Proficient in English communication. Knowledge of Arabic is a plus Communication skills.
