الوصف الوظيفي The position will also serve as a project manager on various freight rail projects. Must have experience with conceptual and detailed design of freight and passenger railroad and rail transit alignments including profiles, cross sections, trackwork component design and layout. The ability to design complex track arrangements including turnouts, special track work and rail yards is desired. Additional Job Responsibilities May Include: · Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer. · Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures. · Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests. · Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered using modifications of standard procedures or methods developed in previous assignments. · Identifies discrepancies in results. · Provides guidance to entry level engineers. · Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervision. · Independently performs all the tasks necessary to complete primary design elements for engineering works. Performance at this level requires developmental experience in a professional position. المهارات · BA/BS + 4 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education Preferred Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering · 7 – 15 years of railroad design and engineering experience · Experience with Microstation, InRoads and Geopak software. · Experienced in the preparation of preliminary to final track and civil design of freight and passenger rail systems. Knowledge of the Freight Rail Industry’s Engineering Requirements: · Knowledge of Microstation, Inroads and Geopak Site Software · Experience with AutoCad and AutoCad Civil 3D. · Experience with Autoturn, and InRail. · Experience in Project Management تفاصيل الوظيفة
