Ensure development, implementation and communication of all Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental related topics relevant to the organization. 1. Quality - Make aware staff members of new quality requirements and ensure they are enforced; - Maintain metrics (KPIs) and utilize the same to drive continuous improvement - Create an environment built that ensure integration of quality as part of everyday behavior; - Evaluate, develop and deliver training as they relate to quality; - Write procedures as needed to provide quality guidelines for workshop staff; - Write procedures and develop standards for performing inspections as needed for incoming raw materials, in process materials, finished goods materials; - Coordinate with certification bodies and regulatory agencies as needed; - Investigate customer complaints and assist team to carry out root cause analysis, follow through to ensure implementation of corrective measures and provide feedback to customers in a timely manner; - Reports major NCRs related to Quality to Operations Manager and proposes related correction plan; 2. Health, Safety and Environment - Implement environmental, health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with relevant legislation and statutory standards such as Occupational Health and Safety, Safe Work etc; - Implement programs to train managers and employees in work site safety practices, fire prevention, environmental requirements etc; - Inspect organization facilities to detect existing or potential accident and health and environmental hazards, determines corrective or preventative measures where indicated, and follow up to ensure measures have been implemented; - Provide information, signs, posters, barriers, and other materials to warn of potential and actual safety and environmental hazards and to prevent access to hazardous conditions; - Lead the investigation of accidents and injuries and compile and submits accident reports as required by regulatory agencies; - Maintain HSE metrics and key indicators to provide visibility towards achieving zero accidents and continuous improvement; - Reports major NCRs related to HSE to Operations Manager and proposes related correction plan; 3. Methods - Lead teams through brainstorming and lay foundation for continuous improvement initiatives; - Be the go-to person for process improvement tools and help achieve productivity and maintenance improvements; - Help create an environment that drives improvements systematic analysis with a data driven approach; - Ensure successes and best practices are displayed, shared locally and with the company head office;
المهارات
Knowledge of Quality and HSE standards;
Knowledge of Lean-Sigma processes (desired but not required);
Experience with audits (Auditor/Auditee) specifically around ISO certifications;
Strong oral and written communication in English is necessary;
Self-Motivated and Independent;
Possess excellent relational and interpersonal skills in order to communicate clearly and efficiently at all levels within the organization and externally with regulatory agencies;
Methodical with a penchant for detail;
