Public Policy Analyst

Job Description and Requirements
As the successful candidate, you will hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, including social and political sciences, economics, public administration or Middle Eastern studies.

You will have 5 to 7 years of experience in research and analysis in a well-established organization in the energy industry, government agency, or a not for profit or consulting firm.

Excellent knowledge in research methods and data analysis, and fluency in the English language (both written and oral) are a must. Knowledge of the Arabic language is a plus.

Knowledge of the regulatory environment in the GCC region, particularly in Saudi Arabia.

Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following:

Screen the regulatory and public policy landscape (with emphasis on issues impacting the energy industry), collect and maintain the necessary database, and write related research and analysis. 

Disseminate research findings through the publication of reports, briefing notes, white papers, or presentations, as directed by superiors.

Contribute to larger Corporate Affairs’ research and advisory projects.

Provide advisory services on communication and relations in connection with the regulatory and public policy issues.
Work with colleagues across all departments to initiate, organize, and produce position papers, research, forums, and programs with substantive impact and relevance to our mission.

Help transform research findings into results-oriented solutions.

Represent Saudi Aramco and/or participate in relevant conferences and meetings.

Provide training and mentoring for young Saudi talents within your area of expertise.
