Our client are a leading international Engineering consultancy who are looking for a Master Urban Planner for their office in Riyadh.You will be responsible for:
Conducting field investigations, surveys, impact studies or other research in order to compile and analyse data on economic, social, regulatory and physical factors affecting land use
Develop plans and programs for the use of land for communities and development projects while taking into account design guidelines, environmental considerations, land use and legal issues
Meet with decision makers and the public to determine needs and limitations; gather and analyse census data, environmental studies and economic reports; and review site plans created by developers and architects
Make recommendations for urban development plans, roads, schools and other infrastructure in order to help decision makers solve social, economic and environmental problems
Advise planning officials and design team on project feasibility, cost-effectiveness, regulatory conformance, and possible alternatives
Create, prepare, and present graphic and narrative reports on land use data, including land area maps overlaid with geographic variables such as population density
Coordinate work with various stakeholders and consultants during the formulation of plans and the design of large urban plans, land use and infrastructure plans
Key Requirements
Possesses BS degree (preferred Master Degree) in planning or a closely related field
Minimum 15 years’ experience in the planning profession
