Job Description and Requirements
As the successful candidate you will have:
A bachelor degree in Systems Engineering or Computer Engineering.
At least ten years of work experience in process control systems, server administration and network security, in the oil and gas process industry.
Experience with blending and movement automation engineering required, preferably with Honeywell, Foxboro and Yokogawa systems.
Working knowledge of oil and gas related plant processes.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in the field of control systems.
Familiarity with field instrument types and applications.
Familiarity with international standards and specifics.
Understanding of refinery facilities, tank farm and feedstock/product movements.
Experience with DCS/BMA and Management of Change (MOC) programs.
Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following:
Provide engineering expertise support for running facilities on accurate, reliable and accessible inventory and movement information system.
Give engineering assessment, engineering design package, troubleshooting and root cause failure analysis.
Provide engineering support for projects and maintenance activities.
Serve as key contact point for their area of expertise.
Deliver technical training as required in their area of expertise.
Assess and review of repeated failures and bad actor blending and movement components.
Provide design concept, engineering/specification, integration, installation and maintenance.
Provide assistance for any requested day to day support in revolving plant operations problems by sustaining BMA functions.
Work with vendors as necessary to resolve problems.
Provide start-up / shutdown coverage as required.
