Position Description
Develop solar plant conceptual design, forecast initial energy yield for plant location and review / verify technical consultants’ reports
• Provide technical support for the development of projects across Saudi Arabia
• Supervise technical consultants and conduct technical verification of reports
• Screen, select and develop sites for Solar PV plants
• Screen, evaluate and present site resource data
• Develop the conceptual design, modeling and initial energy yield forecast for Solar PV plant locations
• Manage input and update project data into GIS
• Draft performance specifications and employers’ requirements for the construction and operation of Solar PV plants
• Evaluate vendors and vendor proposals
• Estimate and optimize project budget
المهارات
• University degree in engineering or science, preferably in renewable energy, electrical or civil engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in project engineering for the development of Solar PV projects
• Strong technical background in the specification, conceptual design and modelling of Solar PV plants
• Conducting surveys, studies and assessments to secure necessary project permits, agreements, rights and contracts
• Excellent written and spoken English
