Responsibilities:
Depot Equipment’s Works
• Assist the Track leading technician in
carrying out all level of preventive and corrective maintenance activities and
minor modifications in depot equipment’s. • Carry out routine inspections,
unscheduled maintenance, inspecting parts for surface defects, changing of
consumable items, perform minor repairs and technical cleaning of all the depot
equipment’s • Perform time sensitive fault diagnostics and component
replacement on the depot equipment’s & track cleaning vehicles • Follow the
appropriate maintenance procedures and instructions, operating rules and
procedures to ensure compliance with the Maintenance requirements. • Produce
and maintain accurate maintenance records of all depot equipment’s, tool and
work accomplished and other information using a computerized maintenance
management system.
• Assist and maintain good relationship with the external services personnel
during the depot equipment maintenance. Skills

• Assist the Track Supervisor in carrying

modifications in the third rail system & track as well. • Carry out routine
inspections, unscheduled maintenance, inspecting parts for surface defects,
changing of consumable items, perform minor repairs and technical cleaning of
all the third rail & track systems. • Perform time sensitive fault
diagnostics and component replacement (repair in site or inside depot) on the
third rail & track system (Mainline & depots). • Follow the appropriate
maintenance procedures and instructions, operating rules and procedures to
ensure compliance with the Maintenance requirements. • Produce and maintain
accurate maintenance records of third rail & track, tools, and work accomplished and other
information using a computerized maintenance management system(MMIS) • Perform
and carry out duties as instructed/ directed by the track Supervisor •
• Implement the LOTO Procedure
before to start working on the Point machines for any maintenance related
activities
Onboard ATC Works
• Assist the ATC Supervisor in carrying out
all level of preventive and corrective maintenance activities and minor
modifications on rolling stock and also on the way side equipments. • Carry out
routine vehicle inspections, inspecting parts for surface defects, changing of
consumable items, perform minor repairs and technical cleaning. • Perform time
sensitive fault diagnostics and component replacement (repair in site or inside
depot) on the ATC system (Onboard & Wayside). • Follow the appropriate
maintenance procedures and instructions, operating rules and procedures to
ensure compliance with the Maintenance requirements. • Produce and maintain
accurate maintenance records of ATC system, tools, calibration of track
circuits, work accomplished and other information using a computerized
maintenance management system. • Perform and carry out duties as instructed/
directed by the ATC system Supervisor • Implement and follow Permit To Work
process • Implement the LOTO procedure before to start working on the track
switch machines for any maintenance related activities • • Perform calibration of track circuits in the
mainline & also verify the functioning of the vital relays ( Onboard &
SER )
PDS Works
• Assist the PDS System Supervisor in
carrying out all level of preventive and corrective maintenance activities and
minor modifications in the Power distribution systems. • Carry out routine
inspections, unscheduled maintenance, inspecting parts for surface defects,
changing of consumable items, perform minor repairs and technical cleaning of
all electro-mechanical equipment’s in PDS systems. • Perform time sensitive fault diagnostics
and component replacement (repair in site or inside depot) on the PDS system
(sub-stations & depots). • Follow the appropriate maintenance procedures and
instructions, operating rules and procedures to ensure compliance with the
Maintenance requirements. • Produce and maintain accurate maintenance records
of PDS system, tools, and work
accomplished and other information using a computerized maintenance management
system. • Implement and follow Permit To Work process • Perform
shift and emergency duties when required. • Always implement the LOTO Procedure before to the access to
the sub-stations for maintenance activities • Perform roles necessary for the
management of the safe system of works, including meeting tight maintenance
schedules.
PSDS Works
• Assist the PSDS System Team Leader in
carrying out all level of preventive and corrective maintenance activities and
minor modifications in the PSDS at platforms. • Carry out routine vehicle
inspections, inspecting parts for surface defects, changing of consumable
items, perform minor repairs and technical cleaning. • Follow the appropriate
maintenance procedures and instructions, operating rules and procedures to
ensure compliance with the Maintenance requirements. • Produce and maintain
accurate maintenance records of PSDS system, tools, and calibration of track circuits, work
accomplished and other information using a computerized maintenance management
system. • Perform and carry out duties as instructed/ directed by the PSDS
system Team Leader • Implement and follow Permit To Work process • Perform
shift and emergency duties when required. • Perform adjustments of PSDS in the
platforms & also verify the functioning of the PSDS in coherence with the
train doors.
Wayside-ATC Works
• Assist the ATC Supervisor in carrying out
all level of preventive and corrective maintenance activities and minor
modifications on rolling stock and also on the way side equipment’s. • Carry
out routine vehicle inspections, inspecting parts for surface defects, changing
of consumable items, perform minor repairs and technical cleaning. • Perform
time sensitive fault diagnostics and component replacement (repair in site or
inside depot) on the ATC system (Onboard & Wayside). • Follow the appropriate
maintenance procedures and instructions, operating rules and procedures to
ensure compliance with the Maintenance requirements. • Produce and maintain
accurate maintenance records of ATC system, tools, calibration of track
circuits, work accomplished and other information using a computerized
maintenance management system. • Perform and carry out duties as instructed/
directed by the ATC system Supervisor • Implement and follow Permit To Work
process • Implement the LOTO procedure before to start working on the track

المهارات
·
2 years of experience in maintenance of the depot equipment’s in railway industry.
·
Should be completely aware of the interference & consequences of a failure in the depot
equipment’s in a metro system.
·
Ability to write simple technical reports, routine business correspondence, prepare
method statements and drawings as required
Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and the ability to handle multiple priorities
