Finance and Accounting Policies and Procedures – Project Manager

The role is initially project based, to lead a team of 2 to:
undertake a complete review of the existing finance and accounting policies and procedures being followed across the various Business Units of the Group

compare the current state versus industry best practices

identify control weaknesses and other improvement points and present these findings to senior management, agreeing on required changes to the existing policies and procedures

formally document the policies and procedures into a Finance and Accounting Policies and Procedures Manual

المهارات

Required qualifications:
Over 5 years of professional work experience

Qualified chartered accountant

Big 4 accountancy firm experience

Relevant project management qualifications are a plus

Experience of working on similar projects is a plus

Required skills:
Project management and planning

Strong communication skills (English). Arabic language is a plus

Excellent writing skills

Good presentation skills

develop a detailed project plan (it is expected that the project should be completed within 6 months from start to finish)

report on the project progress on a regular basis to the Group CFO and Group Financial Controller

Upon completion of the project, the candidate will be responsible for establishing an Internal Audit function for the Group.
